π UPDATE PART 4 Feb 17/2024: Child sex trafficking ring in Calgary & Lethbridge protected by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and Crown Prosecutors
June 13, 2023 - Top Alberta Health Services Executive has been given a sentence of five-and-a-half years for sexually assaulting a 7 year old child
Dr.Albert de Villiers - The Details:
The assaults happened when the victim was between the ages of seven and nine (2018-2020) during a series of sleepovers at the accused home. There were five to eight times during sleepovers when assaults took place.
Court heard that two families had become friends and the kids from one family had sleepovers at the home of the accused and his wife.
The parents of the victim were friends with the accused and his wife and trusted the accused so much so, that the child referred to him as an uncle and/or grandpa.
The motherβs statement described how the victim showed a change in behavior, as well as signs of depression, anxiety, and stress following the sleepovers at the accused.
The fatherβs statement blamed himself for meeting the accused and struggled with life and his religion following the series of assaults on his child.
The victim wrote they were sad and confused following the acts by the accused and were told not to tell anyone, as the accused would go to jail if they did.
The victim also feared if they told anyone that the accused would come to their home and harm them and their family.
victimβs statement described that they βfelt pain in their heartβ, and that their βheart turned blackβ after being shown pornographic material, and βit didnβt feel right.β
28 letters of reference for the accused stated that he is a βgood manβ, βstrong in faithβ, a βgood friendβ, and some pledged they would still trust the accused with their children (these 28 letters came from top Healthcare Executives in Alberta and British Columbia)
The accused has a second trial for similar charges involving two other children set for August 23, 2023.

Judge has sentenced a former medical health officer to five and a half years in prison for sexually assaulting a young child in northern Alberta.
Dr. Albert de Villiers, 54, was found guilty of sexual assault and sexual interference of a boy in Grand Prairie, Alta., between 2018 and 2020.
The child, whose identity is protected under a publication ban, was seven when the abuse began.
RCMP issued a press release on Aug.25, 2021 that βsexual offences involving a child alleged to have occurred between Jan.2017 and Dec.2019β
βwas charged with invitation to sexual touching, voyeurism as well as making sexually explicit material available to a childβ
βon June 8, 2021, Albert de Villiers was arrested in Kelowna, B.C. with help from Mounties in that jurisdictionβ
The boy testified at trial that de Villiers showed him pornography and touched him several times at the doctorβs home.
Alberta RCMP launched an investigation into de Villiers on May 28, 2021. HeΒ was arrested in Kelowna in June 2021 and subsequently charged.
De Villiers was the Medical Officer of Health in Albertaβs North Zone for 16 years.
He became the Chief Medical Officer of Health for B.C.βs Interior Health Authority in August 2020.
βIn her Tuesday decision, Justice Leonard found that de VilliersΒ sexually touched the boy between five and eight times between June 15, 2018, and July 31, 2020.Β β
βAn apologetic voicemail that de VilliersΒ left for the boy's father in June 2021Β β after the child disclosed what had happened to his parents β became a key part of the Crown prosecutor's case. At that point, the parents had blocked de Villiers on social media and his regular phone number.β
CBC Update (Sep.18, 2023)
Dr.Albert de Villiers was charged in a separate case ofΒ one count each of voyeurism, sexual touching and making sexually explicit materials available to a child.
These charges were withdrawn on Sept.Β 13, 2023, and a peace bond was issued.
A spokesperson for Alberta's Crown Prosecution Service said this was the "only available and appropriate resolutionβ due to βchallenges with the caseβ.
Penticton Herald News
Government documents have revealed that taxpayer funds were used to pay disgraced former Interior Health Chief Medical Health Officer Albert de Villiers a total of $346,536 in the 2022-23 fiscal year - a full year after he had been arrested for sexual assault against a child.
This NDP government has still not explained why they continued to pay a child sex offender and why they refused to put him on unpaid leave until the trial was concluded.
British Columbians will be appalled to find out that de Villiers continued to collect a massive salary - paid for by taxpayers - while on trial
Since April of 2021, Albert de Villiers has been paid more than $700,000 in public funds, despite being arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference against a child in June of that year (2021).
βDe VilliersΒ was placed on paid leaveΒ by Interior Health on June 8, 2021, the same day he was arrested and charged.β
On Feb. 7, 2023, de Villiers was convicted on both charges. He has since been sentenced to five and a half years in prison.
ANALYSIS NOT DONE BY THE MEDIA:
Dr.Villiers sexually assaulted at least 3 children, this led to RCMP arrest on June 8, 2021 in Kelowna, BC
He was convicted of sexually assaulting a 7 year old boy in Alberta from June 15, 2018, and July 31, 2020
charges relating to sexually assaulting two other children were βwithdrawnβ by corrupt Alberta prosecutors on Sept.Β 13, 2023 due to βdifficulties with the caseβ. Presumably these sexual assaults took place between Jan.2017 and Dec.2019, as reported in RCMPβs Aug.25, 2021 press release:
βan additional report was received of sexual offences involving a child alleged to have occurred between Jan. 2017 and Dec. 2019.β
Dr.Villiers was therefore sexually assaulting at least 3 children during the period January 2017 to July 31, 2020. He was convicted on one case, sentenced to 5.5 years in prison and let go on the other 2 cases by corrupt Alberta prosecutors.
βtrial for similar charges involving two other children set for August 23, 2023β
TOP HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVE IN TWO CANADIAN PROVINCES:
1. AHS Zone Lead Medical Officer of Health Jan.2004-July 2020
There are 5 Zones in Alberta.
Dr.Villiers was the Zone Lead Medical Officer of Health of Northern Zone
These 5 leaders reported directly to AHS Executive (AHS CEO & AHS CMO)
This was a Top 10 healthcare leadership position in the province of Alberta.
In late 2015, Alberta Premier Rachel Notley and Minister of Health Sarah Hoffman re-organized Alberta Health Services and put their own leftist NDP loyal people in charge.
Dr.Villiers, to keep his AHS job after 2015, required approval of all top healthcare executives in Alberta:
Dr.Verna Yiu was AHS Chief Executive Officer from Dec.2015 to Apr.2022 - she approved Dr.Villierβs position during that period
Dr.Francois Belanger was AHS Chief Medical Officer from Dec.2015 to Nov.2023 - he approved Dr.Villierβs position during that period
(Dr.Villier was sexually assaulting at least 3 children in Alberta from Jan.2017 to July 2020 while reporting directly to AHS CEO Dr.Verna Yiu & AHS CMO Dr.Francois Belanger)
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
CPSA Registrar Dr.Scott McLeod has been Registrar since July 2017 - he had to approve Dr.Villierβs leaderhip position.
CPSA Associate Registrar Dr.Michael Caffaro and his lawyer Craig Boyer have controlled the medical licenses of all doctors in Alberta since July 2015.
Craig Boyerβs father, Donald Boyer has been head legal counsel for CPSA since the 1970s. The Boyer family legally controls the private corporation that is the CPSA, along with 11,000 medical licenses of all Alberta doctors.
Dr.Caffaro and Craig Boyer both had to approve Dr.Villierβs leadership position.
2. Pediatric Zone Lead for Alberta Ministry of Health
Dr.Villiers had a 2nd Top healthcare leadership position in Alberta that no media covered, that I discovered while researching the story.
He was the PEDIATRICS Zone Lead for Alberta Minister of Health, Sarah Hoffman.
This required approval of Alberta Premier & NDP leader Rachel Notley and her Minister of Health Sarah Hoffman
Let me repeat. During the time that Dr.Villiers was sexually assaulting 3 children (from January 2017 until July 2020), he was working for the Alberta Provincial government Minister of Health Sarah Hoffman as the PEDIATRICS ZONE LEAD. He was not a pediatrician. More on this later.
So his AHS Executive role was Public Health but his Alberta NDP government role was βPEDIATRICS ZONE LEADβ. This becomes important later on.
Dr.Villiers abruptly left Alberta in August 2020 to another top position as Chief Medical Officer of Health for BC Interior Health and moved to Kelowna, BC.
This required assistance and reference letters from AHS Executives Dr.Verna Yiu and Dr.Francois Belanger and other top AHS Executives.
3. BC Medical Officer of Health for BC Interior Health (August 2020- )
In August 2020, Dr.Villiers abruptly moved to Kelowna, BC and became Medical Officer of Health for BC Interior Health.
This was a top 10 healthcare leadership position in British Columbia
This required approval of BC NDP government officials:
BC NDP Premier John Horgan
BC NDP Minister of Health Adrian Dix (Minister since June 2017)
BC NDP Provincial Health Officer Dr.Bonnie Henry (his direct boss) (assumed office Jan.31, 2018)
βDe VilliersΒ was placed on paid leaveΒ by Interior Health on June 8, 2021, the same day he was arrested by RCMP and charged with sex crimes against a 7 year old child.β (PAID LEAVE)
Government documents have revealed that taxpayer funds were used to pay disgraced former Interior Health Chief Medical Health Officer Albert de Villiers a total of $346,536 in the 2022-23 fiscal year - a full year after he had been arrested for sexual assault against a child.
Since April of 2021, Albert de Villiers has been paid (by BC NDP) more than $700,000 in public funds, despite being arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference against a child in June of that year (2021).
CONCLUSION:
This case should have brought down the current BC NDP Provincial government, which paid Dr. Villiers over $700,000 AFTER being arrested for sexually assaulting 3 children (one of them age 7).
This case should also have ended the political careers of former Alberta Premier and NDP leader Rachel Notley and Health Minister Sarah Hoffman, as he sexually assaulted 3 children while working as their PEDIATRIC ZONE LEAD, despite the fact he is not a pediatrician. Why did Premier Rachel Notley give him access to kids?
Bottom line is, two provincial governments put him in top healthcare leadership positions, protected him and paid him even after he was arrested for sexually assaulting children.
Corrupt Alberta prosecutors also protected him and dropped the charges of sexually assaulting two other children due to βcomplications with the caseβ - I suspect there was pedophile ring that they didnβt want to expose any further.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta shows him as a specialist in Community Medicine with a CLEAN RECORD (they also protected him - βDisciplinary Actions - Noneβ). This was managed by Dr.Scott McLeod, Dr.Michael Caffaro and Craig Boyer, pictured in this article, above.
Please note very carefully that Dr. Villiers received 28 letters of reference from top healthcare Executives in Alberta and British Columbia stating that he is a βgood manβ, βstrong in faithβ, a βgood friendβ, and some pledged they would still trust the accused with their children.
Those letters should be released publicly so we know who are the 28 Top Alberta healthcare leaders who tried to keep him out of jail and would trust their children with him.
Why did Alberta prosecutors drop charges of sexual assault against the two other children? What pedophile ring at Alberta Health Services are they hiding?
FINAL WORDS:
As BC Public Health Chief Dr.Bonnie Henryβs right hand man and Public Health Chief in BC Interior from August 2020 until his arrest in July 2021, he would have been the person enforcing lockdowns, masking, blocking doctors from treating COVID-19 patients, and recommending lethal hospital protocols as well as rolling out COVID-19 Vaccines to young adults, pregnant women and children.
