Dr. Delbert Blair: A Visionary in Metaphysics, History, and Science
Last week I came across a 30 year old ‘lost’ video clip of a man named Dr. Delbert Blair - I did not know who he was or his name at the time. After watching it I thought, wow, he was thinking about things that are happening TODAY. I uploaded the clip to my Rumble channel wishing I had the full video or at lease knew his name. Here’s the 3.5 minute clip, check it out 👇
So 3 days later I cruising X and there it was - the FULL interview video! I have posted it at the end of this article. I then asked Grok to tell me about Dr. Delbert Blair and this is what I got:
📌 Dr. Delbert Blair was a multifaceted figure whose life’s work bridged the realms of metaphysics, history, science, and spirituality. As an engineer, research scientist, metaphysician, historian, lecturer, and former pastor, Blair left an indelible mark on those who encountered his teachings. For over five decades, he led The Meta-Center in Chicago, a hub for exploring consciousness, unconventional knowledge, and the mysteries of existence. His passing on January 31, 2016, marked the end of a remarkable journey, but his legacy endures through his protégé, Tony Vortex, and the continued work of The Meta-Center.
Born on February 13/1934, Blair dedicated his life to unraveling the hidden truths of the universe. He founded The Meta-Center in 1973, serving as its director and chief consultant. The center became a sanctuary for those seeking to expand their understanding of metaphysics, spirituality, and the impact of technology on human health and society. Blair’s teachings emphasized the power of the "world within"—the internal journey of self-discovery—as a pathway to understanding the external world. His work often delved into unconventional topics, including UFO sightings, the spiritual implications of meditation, and the exploration of etheric energies, earning him a reputation as a bold and curious thinker.
Blair’s lectures, delivered in over 200 forums, covered a wide array of subjects. From ancient Egyptian history to the dangers of electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) and cell phone radiation, his talks challenged conventional narratives. Titles like “The Facts & Myths about 2012,” “Cells from Hell: The Danger of Cell Phones & Other Energy Vampires,” and “The 18th Dynasty of Egypt” reflected his ability to weave together historical, scientific, and metaphysical insights. A 1990s lecture, recently popularized online, showcased his prescient warnings about environmental toxins, GMOs, and societal manipulation, resonating with modern audiences concerned about these issues. In it, he described humanity as “under mind control, dying right off the bat, being experimented with,” a stark critique that highlighted his fearless approach to exposing what he saw as systemic threats.
As a metaphysician, Blair explored the spiritual dimensions of human existence. He viewed melanin as a form of “spiritual technology” and discussed scalar manipulation and the body as a receiver of thought waves. His experiences, including a reported UFO abduction, fueled his pragmatic research into extraterrestrial encounters and universal truths. Books like The World Within, Man, Woman and Child, and My Close Encounter with an Extraterrestrial captured his insights, though some readers noted grammatical issues in the published works. Despite this, his ideas were praised for their depth and transformative potential, encouraging readers to question mainstream narratives about humanity’s origins and purpose.
Blair’s engineering background informed his warnings about the health risks of technologies like EMF and extra-low-frequency (ELF) waves. He advocated for protective measures, such as diodes sold through The Meta-Center, and educated his community on the dangers of radiation in hospitals and everyday devices. His holistic approach combined scientific rigor with spiritual wisdom, drawing on the oral traditions of African griots to preserve and share knowledge.
The Meta-Center, under Blair’s leadership, offered classes, meditations, and resources to elevate consciousness. After a major health scare in May 2015, Blair closed the center in June of that year. Tony Vortex, whom Blair called his “God Son” and protégé, reopened it in August 2015 to honor his mentor’s legacy. Following Blair’s death, Vortex has continued to manage The Meta-Center, the only website authorized by Blair to sell his goods and services. The center’s mission remains rooted in transforming realities “one thought-form at a time,” offering lectures, books, and DVDs that keep Blair’s teachings alive.
Blair’s impact extended beyond his immediate community. His radio program, airing 24/7 from The Meta-Center, and appearances on platforms like Dominique DiPrima’s Front Page spread his message to a broader audience. Posts on X reflect ongoing admiration for his brilliance, with users calling him a “Master Teacher” and celebrating his foresight. A viral video of his 1990s lecture, shared by figures like Alex Jones, underscores his relevance in today’s debates about health, technology, and societal control.
Dr. Delbert Blair’s life was a testament to the power of curiosity and the pursuit of truth. His work challenged people to look beyond the surface, question established systems, and embrace the interconnectedness of science, spirituality, and history. Though he is no longer with us, his teachings continue to inspire those seeking to navigate the complexities of the modern world with clarity and purpose.
