I agree. And as a senior in Canada I am scared sh!tless. If I get sick will they just kill me? I think our current govt would. I also recently registered as a 'NON organ donor', I don't trust those aholes after what they did to us during Covid - my brother is no longer here because of it.
I’ve been questioning myself for a while about MAID, and there is one thing that was never obvious to me: Is it legal for all the administrative aspects of someone’s life?
The following might be the brick in the pound.
People living in countries where MAID is offered and Canadians should ask their insurance company if MAID is considered a “natural death” by their contract -aka wether their life insurance benefits would be paid to their heirs or not. Don’t forget to record the conversation, which is allowed in Canada, or have a witness listening too!
Depending on the answer, I guess millions might suddenly stop paying for a useless life insurance plan… 🤓
